Lizeth Jiménez, Coordinadora de investigación e incidencia

Licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, cuenta con una especialidad por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, España en Derecho internacional de D.H y en California Western School of Law. Durante su época universitaria fue ganadora del concurso interno UABC y representante de Baja California en el Primer Concurso Nacional ¨Camino hacia la Suprema Corte¨ (2020) y Ganadora del concurso interno, Jóvenes Juristas (2020) de la misma universidad. Del 2021 al 2022 fue vicepresidenta del V Parlamento Juvenil de Baja California y Presidenta de la Comisión de Asuntos Fronterizos y Migratorios, sus proyectos legislativos presentados fueron; La desigualdad social que viven los migrantes afrodescendientes en México, Reforma a la Ley de Educación de Baja California, añadiendo un capítulo especial para atender la necesidad de las mujeres, Inicialista de la Ley Menstruación Digna en Baja California. En 2022 fue Representante de México en el Foro de la Juventud UNODC. En 2023 fue invitada a colaborar en la SCJN en las Jornadas de Escucha y diálogo “Problemas y retos de las mujeres en el acceso a la justicia”. Es la Coordinadora e inicialista del Primer Parlamento Migrante a nivel global. Actualmente, es Coordinadora del área de Investigación e Incidencia en
Espacio Migrante A.C.

Graduated in Law from the Autonomous University of Baja California, she has a specialty from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain in International Human Rights Law and from the California Western School of Law. During her university days she was the winner of the UABC internal contest and representative of Baja California in the First National Contest ¨Road to the Supreme Court¨ (2020) and Winner of the internal contest, Young Jurists (2020) of the same university. From 2021 to 2022 she was vice president of the V Youth Parliament of Baja California and President of the Border and Migration Affairs Commission, her legislative projects presented by her were; The social inequality experienced by Afro-descendant migrants in Mexico, she Reforms the Baja California Education Law, adding a special chapter to address the needs of women, Initialist of the Dignified Menstruation Law in Baja California. In 2022 she was the Representative of Mexico at the UNODC Youth Forum. In 2023 she was invited to collaborate with the SCJN in the Conference on Listening and Dialogue "Problems and challenges of women in access to justice". She is the Coordinator and initialist of the First Migrant Parliament at a global level. Currently, she is Coordinator of the Research and Advocacy area in Espacio Migrante A.C.
